• We live in Piney Flats, in East Tennessee, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.
• We believe that government education and schools in America have overwhelmingly succeeded in corrupting, brainwashing, and promoting it's socialism to us and our children by keeping us ignorant and dependent upon the State. We also believe that education is not a function of the State, but of the parents. The State wants control of education and our children in order to promote it's socialism; therefore, we have chosen to homeschool our children, giving them a strong classical and biblical education, our goal being that "the end of learning is to repair the ruins of our first parents by regaining to know God aright and out of that knowledge to love Him, and to be like Him (John Milton, On Education)." • We are proud of our Scottish heritage - both sides of Jeff's family (Forresters and Bairds) and one side of Sonya's family (Riddles) have their roots in Scotland.
