Ingredients: 1 quart of heavy cream
1/2 canister of prego spaghetti sauce (the big, big container....restaurant size)
Fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, basil. Add at your discretion.
**You can use tomato in any form with this recipe (for example; diced canned tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, etc.) Using prego spaghetti sauce, instead of fresh tomatoes, is just a super quick way to whip up this sauce. |
Steps: Simmer ingredients together until desired thickness is reached. Serve over bowtie pasta. Don't overcook it as the sauce will begin to separate (it will separate a bit during the simmer...just don't over do it). **You can add meat to this if you wish (Italian sausage, hamburger, etc.)** |
